夕立のりぼん(Yuudachi no Ribbon) English Translyrics

Been meaning to put this up for a long time. And I kinda wanted to post something new to clear some cobwebs in this page.

Tried to make it less literal. Hope I gave justice. Lyrics and translation were from wikia, which was from descentsubs.

Yuudachi no Ribbon (Evening Shower’s Ribbon)

Words, Music: みきとP
English Translyrics: shiHoReloaded

In a sudden moment when the rain began to pour in
You took my hand and pulled me under the shade, hiding
Roughly making through, our frozen breaths endure
as echoes whisper through the wall

Just within the reach of you have made me shiver, thinking,
A simple glance can make or break what this story’s shaping
Merely inches far, now it’s all been done
From one to zero, it’s begun

Let’s make this simple oath that’s just for us, that’s just for us
“I’ll seal it with love”
Those whispers have been ringing into my ears from the time
I hardly ever could recount

May this trauma fade away with just a simple gesture
Within the second where your fingers would brush with mine
Common sense won’t find what foolish thoughts could buy
No matter how you seem to lie, so that’s why…

…Eternity can crash and burn

Between the disarray this rain beholds, those words were heard
“I love you” was told
Platonic were we, now there’s nothing to hold us;
Shattered chains are what was left behind

Open up your umbrella. Let us go home as one.

Roughly making through, our frozen breaths endure
And overlap within the rain
Merely inches far, now it’s all been done
From one to zero, it’s begun

Between the disarray, I thought I heard, I thought you heard
But it seemed like a joke
Your innocent eyes, in a flash of confusion, has smiled that make
them look just so divine

Let’s make this simple oath that’s just for us, that’s just for us
“I’ll seal it with love”
Those whispers have been ringing into my ears from the time
I hardly ever could recount

Ribbon showers that were falling
